We would like to say thanks to all the teams that came out to play in the final leg of our 3-Man Cash Money Series.
We had perfect weather on hand for the final day of our point series. We had 7 teams competing for just over 500.00 in cash for the final event and 1800.00 in cash for the series. Both Element and Freak Show were on hand to fight for the series title and cash. The day was set now lets move on to the action.
Games were started on time and were moving along great.
A brand new team Epicenter made up of some youg men just getting started had some equipment problems and communitcation problems. Though they didn’t win one all day, they learned alot and had fun. We hope they keep coming out to practice, we look forward to making them pro’s. Another team called Long Shot came out for there first event as well. They were alittle more practiced and were able to win a game. Well done guys!! We here at Gotcha hope both these teams the best and hope to see them at our next event.
Things got tight at the end of the prelims for Freak Show. They got off to a slow start and didn’t win there first game till ther third match.
However, Freak Show 2 and Element were winning all there games. By the end of the prelims there was a battle for the 3rd and 4th spots into the finals. Troubled, Cataclysm, and Freak Show were all battling to get in to the finals. It came down to the last game Element vs Cataclysm. If Element won Freak Show was into the finals, but in a strange turn of events it came down to a 1 on 1 and the Element player stepped out of bounds, giving the win to Cataclysm and a spot into the finals. Hmmmm....
It was all Element in the finals. They won every game in the finals to take the event win and the series win. Way to guys!!!
